hous holds this online hoax.... has not come forwardfederal transportation investigators are still trying to figure out the cause of the electrical problems that have grounded boeing's 7-87 dreamliner fleet around the world. the national transportation safety board has worked with manufacturers in arizona in running a series of new tests on the airline's battery systems. investigators say a short- circuit and an uncontrolled chemical reaction apparently took place in a boeing 787 battery before the battery caught fire earlier this month in boston but they are still unsure why it happened.

an inside look at house police in the east bay are using technology to seek out the sounds of gun fire. now for a look at our top stories at eight-thirty. a big clue in the on-going hunt for a kidnap suspect in san jose. dramatic surveillance video shows the kidnapping of a 13-year-old girl last week. a struggle between the girl and the kidnapper. and then he would-be abductor is still on the loose. the f-a-a is still trying to figure out what is causing 787 dream liner jets. safety board has worked with tests on the airline's 7-8-7's while itsenator dianne feinstein has introduced legislation to expired assault weapons ban.she cited the massacre in newtown as a "wakeup call". she says the bill would abiding citizens who use guns for home security, saying california did the brown trumpeted his balanced budget this morning in his legislature. the governor praised praised voters for approving temporary tax increases. a special session of the
